1 April 1909 - Death
Died at 'Rooipoort', Kokstad, on April 1 1909, Edward John, the beloved son of Mr and Mrs W Trollip, aged 19 months.

18 July 1909 - Marriage
At Holy Trinity Church, Kokstad, on Wednesday, 18 July 1909, eldest daughter of Mr F Kumm, of 'Sevenfontein' to Walter Herbert Shuttleworth, a young farmer near Kokstad. Minister was Rev Canon Adkin.

14 October 1909 - Birth
On the 14th, at Shamrock Villa Private Nursing Home, Kokstad, the wife of JAG Webster of 'Dagster', a daughter.

5 August 1884 - Birth
At Kokstad on the 5th, the wife of Inspector Middleton, Telegraph Department, of a daughter.

29 September 1903 - Marriage
At 'Oatlands', the residence of Mr J Shuttleworth on the 29th, George Algernon Langton of Bizana to Elizabeth Adelaide Shuttleworth, third daughter of Mr Henry Shuttleworth, of Port Shepstone.

10 October 1906 - Marriage
On Wednesday, 10 October 1906, at 'Oatlands', the residence of Mr Joseph Shuttleworth, by the Rev T Major, Edwin Groom, fifth son of the late Richard Groom, to Alice Henrietta Shuttleworth, eldest daughter of Mr Henry Shuttleworth of Perbeck, Natal.

24 September 1905 - Birth
At Kokstad on 24 September 1905, the wife of Rowland Webster, of a son.

19 April 1906 - Death
At 'Slangfontein', the residence of his son, on 19th April, 1906, Henry Shuttleworth, aged 81 years and 17 days, leaving a widow and ten children to mourn his loss.

19 May 1906 - Birth
At Mrs Paddy Kennedy's Private Nursing Home, on the 19th, the wife of John AG Webster, of a daughter.

28 August 1906 - Death
At Kokstad, on 28th August 1906, Richard Augustus, the beloved infant son of Rowland and AA Webster, aged 11 months and four days.

23 April 1910 - Death
On the 23 April 1910, at Izingolweni, Alfred County, Thomas (Ton) Webster, in his 56th year.

16 August 1910 - Wedding
At Wesleyan Church, Musgrave Road, Durban, Mr Ernest Shuttleworth of Kokstad to Mrs Kathleen Vallance of Cape Town and late of Liverpool, England. Minister Rev W Smith-Foggitt.

27 September 1910 - Death
At Ladysmith on 27 September 1910, after a brief illness, John Brander McGregor, formerly of Kokstad. The deceased who was only 43 years of age, took a very active interest in the early development of the copper mines at Mount Ayliff, and he was one of the most prominent of the early prospectors.

22 November 1910 - Birth
On 22 November 1910 at 'Sevenfontein', near Kokstad, the wife of WH Shuttleworth, of a daughter.
