Hello !*FIRST_NAME*!,
'GENEALOGY WORLD' - NEW ITEMS :
Index on right hand side of page.
This year has flown by! Difficult as it is to believe, it is now time for myself and those involved in making GENEALOGY WORLD what it is, to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
GENEALOGY WORLD has grown beyond my wildest imaginings and this is thanks to those of you that contribute your time so generously to expand the information we can make available to others.
A heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you for your contribution of useful information! Well done.
PASSENGER LISTS:
Rosemary Dixon-Smith includes a new List of Passengers in the Natal Shipping section:
BALMORAL CASTLE, arrived at Cape Town from England, via Madeira 3 July 1880.
Please note: the former Balmoral Castle is now re-named the Melrose.
The Balmoral and Melrose (Items 107 and 108 in the Natal Passenger Lists) should therefore be read in tandem.
Thanks to Rosemary for clarifying the above passengers and their destinations in the above 2 Items.
ANNE's TRANSCRIPTIONS:
Anne Clarkson has recently transcribed:
Marriages performed by the resident magistrate of King Williams Town 1903-1916 - Western Cape Archives 1/KWT 8/2/1/5
Another welcome addition to Anne's transcriptions.

Although all GENEALOGY WORLD information is easily accessible from the MAIN MENU, from time to time, we notice researchers being unaware of information we have on GENEALOGY WORLD.
Rosemary Dixon-Smith has supplied us not only with PASSENGER LISTS and items of SA MARITIME INTEREST including shipwrecks, but even the history of lighthouses!
ACCESS all above items from the Genealogy World Main Menu.
Kind regards,
