The National Archives in London have apparently sold their database of passengers who embarked on sea voyages from Britain 1890-1960, to 1837online.com ... 30m records - of people who ventured to Australia, North and South America, India and Africa. 1837online.com will apparently have images on-line by the end of 2006.

ScotlandsPeople with the recent launch of the 1841 Census for Scotland, has all available Census indexes on line now.

ANGLO-BOER WAR:
Photograph of the 50th Reunion of the Ladysmith Siege now available. This was the property of Harry Percy Stead and kindly provided by his granddaughter, Margaret.

Robin has listed the original settlers of the Island of Tristan Da Cunha and Descendants.
Also listed are the South African Railways Staff who received Decorations and Awards during World War II.

The White Cross Line (Item Number 14) now has additional information, images, and URL, recently added by Rosemary Dixon-Smith.

ANGLO-ZULU WAR:
Sergeant of the Buffs is a new article written by Graham Mason.

NATAL NUGGETS:

FAMILY TREE MAGAZINE:
Rosemary Dixon-Smith has recently submitted her article on MISSIONARIES to the FAMILY TREE MAGAZINE and this will be appearing in the October and November editions, following immediately on the August and September issues containing the Female Emigrants material. For one author to have a feature article 4 months running in FTM is rather unusual. Congratulations, Rosemary!
