IVOR EMANUEL

Welshman Ivor Emanuel, remembered for his melodious voice, and one of the stars of the film 'Zulu', died on 20 July 2007 at the age of 80 after the effects of a stroke he suffered six weeks previously.

In the film, Emanuel portrayed Private OWEN - who, incidentally, was not present at the Defence of Rorke's Drift.
