PASSENGERS BY CAPE STEAMERS
Next week’s mail steamer, the Dunottar Castle, will take twenty Polytecnic excursionists to Madeira, and Lord Henry Paulet, Vicomte de Montmart, the Rev. Victor Lewis, and the Rev. Mr. and Mrs. Sutton, to Cape Town. The intermediate steamer Doune Castle, leaving London on the 24th inst., will carry the Rev. J. E. Denison to Durban. The passenger list of the R.M.S. Athenian, leaving Southampton on the 27th inst., includes the names of Colonel Clayton, R.E., and Mrs. Clayton and family, Mr. C. A. V. Conybeare, M.P. for the Camborne Division of Cornwall, and Mr. Mark Joseph (of Joseph Bros., Johannes burg), for Cape Town. The Rev. T., Mrs., and the Misses Mary and Emily Woodman, and Miss Burrows, have booked passages for the Cape in the Warwick Castle. The following party will proceed to Madagascar, under the auspices of the London Missionary Society, in the Dunrobin Castle; the Rev. T. Brockway, Rev. and Mrs. Collins, the Rev. and Mrs. Reeves, and the Rev., Mrs., and Miss Wills.
