A HOLIDAY IN THE CANARIES
A summer trip to the Canary Islands at moderate cost is an attraction that is being offered by the Aberdeen Direct Line of steamers which plies between London and South Africa. The fares, we note, range from £12 to £16 for the return journey, and hotel accommodation in the islands may be booked at from £2 5s. per week upwards. A ticket to Las Palmas is available for return from Teneriffe, and vice versa. The owners (John T. Rennie, Son, and Co., 4, East India Avenue) give particulars of the sailings during July, August, and September, and also announce “Aberdeen Line tours to the Victoria Falls.” For a comfortable sea voyage, combined with a thorough change of scene, the trip to the Canaries can hardly be improved upon.
Regards,
Ellen Stanton
